What a BUSY few weeks!!

What a busy and exciting month it has been!  The beginning of May I spend preparing for my oldest daughter's graduation.  I love that I can create beautiful decorations instead of having to purchase them all.   

She'll be heading to college this fall and I wanted to make her something for her room.  I love mixing and matching my stencils

We made it through graduation unscathed and with a few less tears.  Now I can make more beautiful home decor!  Super, duper easy.  The hardest part is deciding what to make and what colors to use.  Here are a few of my latest creations.

Just a few customs made in the last couple of weeks.  What can I customize for you?

What FUN few weeks I had creating!  I combined both vinyl and my cricuit with my silk screen stencils and chalk paste.  For those mixed media items that need sealed, I lightly seal the chalk paste PRIOR to putting on the vinyl.  Then I can seal the vinyl with a water based poly-acrylic.  

So many possibilities!  Look for more designs coming soon!

Has Spring finally come to Missouri?

After a few days of REALLY nice weather, Missouri decided to plunge us into the 40s-50s again.  Although I didn't get the four letter word that some more northern places got, we got wind and chilly.  Back up to 70 degrees tomorrow.  READY for some SPRING!!  

It's been an extremely busy couple of weeks!  Between craft shows, Chalk & Talks, Senior PROM, customs, there has been very little downtime.  Pile a full time job on top of that and WHEW!!!  I think I'm ready for a nap!!    

This weekend was a little slower.  One class an unexpected Friday off of the full time job.  I did however end up taking new inventory to That One Place Market in Sedalia and Rustic Roots Designs in Warsaw AND made these couple little things:

Ready for Spring!

I love the Build A Bunny transfer mixed with the Vintage Truck.  I don't know how the weather is where you are, but here in Missouri, we are so ready for Spring!!!
